1. I no longer heard the sounds of New York.

     내 귀엔 더이상 뉴욕의 소리가 들리지 않았어.

2. It's bringing me down.

     그건 날 힘들게 해요.

3. It takes time to adjust yourself to a new job.

      새로운 직장에 적응하는데 시간이 걸리지.

You know Jake, a lot of people don't know this, but many years ago, I had a part time job

 as an elevator operator in New York city.

(Really?)

That's right. 

And I've be there(?) Now,everyday I was up and down, up and down, maybe made me

 very diggy dizzy all the time.

And I'll get it tell I gotta tell you it takes time to adjust yourself to a new job. 

I had to learn to know the order of numbers.

One, two, three, fours.

(Ha, ha, ha.)

It was difficult for me.

You know, but I focused.

I really concenterated concentrated on my job and there came appoint(?) a point

 and where I no longer heard the sound of New York.

(A~ha.)

I only heard the passengers saying, "Four, please!", "17, please!"

I became very good at it.

One day I realize realized this elevator job is not good for me.

Yeah, it was bringing me down.

(Ha, ha, ha, ha. Of course, it's bringing you dow.)

Yes, sometimes up, sometimes down.

(Like that. Okay.)
